We are looking for an enthusiastic, aspiring fashion designer or keen sewer who wants to gain valuable experience working in a busy sewing and fashion design studio on a casual basis. Some training will be provided.
Wild Sugar is now accepting applications for a person experienced with using a sewing machine and (preferably) overlockers.
Duties include:
Assisting with laying and cutting fabrics.
Overlocking and prepare garments for finishing.
Required Skills:
Need to be able to use a sewing machine.
Enthusiastic attitude.
Willing and able to receive instructions.
Reliable.
Self-motivated.
Some training will be provided for the applicant with basic skills.
The position will start on a casual basis at current award rates as designated by Australia Fair Work. After a successful trial period position may upgrade to part-time or full-time.
